| During the Bat Walk, approx 95 people took part, and bats were sighted, from the bat detectors there were 3 different species. Area covered Eastcote House Gardens,Long Meadow and Cheney Field. |

A recent People count at EHG recorded the following stats: Mon 11th July Warm and sunny all day. 468 visitors. Sat.16th July Heavy rain most of the day 169 visitors. Thursday 21st July Dull and showery 371 visitors. The Butterfly count has been extended until 7th August because of the bad weather at the start of count.Thier have been some sitings in the wildflower meadow of 1 large white and 2 specled wood Keep looking !

Mayor of the London Borough of Hillingdon attends local fund raising event in Eastcote

The Mayor of Hillingdon, Cllr Mary O'Connor MBE attended a fund raising appeal in aid of the local RoyalBritish Legion (Eastcote) Branch and Friends of Eastcote House. A steady stream of local residents enjoyed the summer sunshine and informal atmosphere and learnt of the many projects that both organisations sponsor. Visitors were also encouraged to tour the Tudor Lodge Hotel facilites.Their website can be found here

Proposed new hotel site in Eastcote - Update | 
| Following last weeks ringing endorsments by local residents and businesses supporting the building of a new hotel in Eastcote high road ,Eastcote local can reveal that the local authority (London Borough of Hillingdon) issued earlier this week an enforcement order to the owners off the land to clean up the building and it's surrounding area.
