Local group releases new CD

Local group "The Mumbles" has just released a new CD.The band was formed in Eastcote in 2005 by Eastcote resident Robert Cowlin and fellow schoolmate James Ward They are both former pupils of Douay Martyrs in Ickenham. We hope to bring you more news of the group and a CD review in the coming days.

Proposed pedestrian crossing alarm

Residents in Eastcote have expressed dismay at a proposal to intoduce a pedestrian crossing near the Eastcote tube station. It is felt that although a crossing point may be needed the current proposal is likely to impede the traffic flow and lead to further poblems at a busy nearby junction.
