Eastcote Community Association Summer Fair raise record sum

Eastcote Community Association raised a record sum of £923 at thier annual Summer Fair last Saturday. The Help The Heroes Charity will benefit from the proceeds with and anticpated  final total figure of around £2000 to be donated to the charity.

Vintage Buses were seen throughout  the Eastcote and Pinner area this weekend. Bus number 220 (pictured above) rolled back the years for many of it's passengers. The route commenced at Uxbridge and called in at Ickenham,Ruislip and Eastcote, finishing in Northwood. The day has become an annual event and was organised by the Amersham & District Motorbus Society. Their website can be found at Amersham Motor Bus Society

The Eastcote Business Association and the Eastcote Residents Association have vowed to work together to ensure that the Christmas lights and Christmas Fair that took place last year will be repeated again. It is intended that the lights will be in place mid November and the Eastcote Christmas Fair will commence on Saturday 4th December 2010. To see what happened last year click here
