Workplace Safespace: A new initiative supporting Hillingdon employers to recognise signs of Domestic Abuse 21 August 2020 With thanks to funding from the London Community Foundation as part of MOJ COVID-19 Extraordinary Funding, three specialist organisations have joined forces to engage with Hillingdon employers to help them understand and support staff experiencing domestic abuse.This initiative will engage with150 local businesses with a reach of up to 5000 employees and develop 50 safe spaces.The partnership comprises of Hillingdon Women's Centre, The Sharan Project and GroW and they are working closely with Hillingdon Council and the Safer Hillingdon Partnership’s Domestic Abuse Strategy to make Hillingdon asaferplace to live,work and visit.
