Mary Sewell, Branch Chairman Eastcote Royal British Legion, has informed us: 'That there will be no Remembrance Sunday Parade organised by the Eastcote Branch of the RBL, nor by the London Borough of Hillingdon, nor by any other local organisation, in Eastcote on 14 November 2021, nor for the foreseeable future.' 

It is understood this is because of a serious road accident in another area in 2018 at a Royal British Legion (RBL) organised Remembrance Sunday event, which included a Street Parade and road closure.'

Remembrance will still be marked in Eastcote in 2021. Discussions are taking place between the Royal British Legion with local Church authorities to see if a Service of Remembrance can be held in St Lawrence Church, Bridle Road, Eastcote on the morning of Sunday 14 November.
