The Queens Head Pinner re-opening 6th July

The Queens Head Pinner re-opening 6th July
Message from Sean "Re-Opening
Since closing our doors on Friday 20th March, the country and all our lives have been changed in a way that could never be foreseen.  By the time of re-opening, I will have spent 15 weeks painting, decorating and upgrading the pub, its toilets, its gardens and virtually every nook and cranny.  We have installed a loop system for the hard of hearing which covers the whole bar area.  We have had the carpets, upholstery and hard floors cleaned, sanitized and sterilized. We are faced by many challenges in the new covid 19 prevention world.  Our procedures, policies and physical changes have all been independently audited by Surefoot Solutions Ltd and we have been awarded the Gold Standard for our Covid 19 protection preparations. All staff have completed the Virtual College course on Covid 19 prevention.
The Queen's Head will be opening on Monday 6th July at midday.  In week one (6th July - 12th July) we will be opening at the following times:  Monday to Thursday:  Midday to 10.00pm. Friday and Saturday: Midday - 11.00pm. Sunday: Midday - 10.00pm.  Full Covid 19 prevention procedures will be in place, and all customers will be required to follow these.  All customers must provide details of address, postcode and mobile phone number.  These details will be retained for 21 days as part of track and trace requirements. Opening hours will be published on Thursday each week for the first 8 weeks after opening.  All customers must be seated as 'vertical' drinking is not permitted under the regulations, and unfortunately once all available seats are taken, we will not be able to serve any more customers, until seats become available.  These measures are challenging and new to all of us, but necessary to protect our staff and customers, their families at home and their colleagues in the workplace. We look forward to welcoming you all back to our historic pub with its great beers, pizzas and atmosphere.    If we all work together and accept the inconveniences of our new practices, we can all still have a great time and enjoy the company of our friends, families and partners, but we must be mindful that the Covid 19 virus is still here and still dangerous.  Best wishes from me and the whole team.
From
Sean and all the team"
