YAKO Restaurant is seeking a reliable and personable individual to assist with answering customer telephone enquiries during our closed and busy periods.
The Role
Your primary responsibility will be to answer incoming telephone calls, take accurate messages, and ensure enquiries are passed promptly to the relevant member of our team. This simple but important role helps us ensure that no customer enquiry or booking opportunity is missed.
Duties Include:
• Answering incoming telephone calls professionally and courteously.
• Taking clear and accurate messages.
• Passing enquiries and messages to the management team.
• Providing a warm and welcoming first impression of YAKO.
• Assisting with basic customer enquiries where appropriate.
Hours
Monday to Friday – 10:30am to 6:30pm
Part-time and flexible arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
About You
• Friendly, patient and professional.
• Clear and confident telephone manner.
• Reliable and organised.
• Comfortable taking messages and communicating information accurately.
• Previous customer service, reception, administration, hospitality, or office experience would be
advantageous but is not essential.
