We have had several reports of cold callers this morning offering ‘Tree Services ‘ and a host of other services. Whilst I appreciate that there are many legitimate and genuine traders, there are very many scammers and fraudsters. 

So if you are approached, take a leaflet/flyer and if you are interested in having work done make sure you get 2 or 3 estimates. 

Don’t be pressured into “This is a limited offer etc” If they pressure you the more likely they are scammers. 

Look after your neighbours, many aren’t on this alert system. They will target the older residents, when they think they may be vulnerable.

Any doubts simply be polite and shut the door.
