The Metropolitan Police would like to alert owners of the following vehicles:

Toyota RAV4

Lexus (various models)

Toyota Hilux

Mopeds/Motorbikes

These vehicles are currently among the most targeted for theft in our area. While overall vehicle crime remains relatively low, there has been a noticeable pattern involving these specific makes and models.

Please take extra precautions to protect your vehicle. Unfortunately, traditional security measures such as alarms, trackers, and Faraday pouches are not always effective, as thieves are using advanced methods to bypass them - even with keys properly stored.

We recommend using multiple layers of security. A physical deterrent like a crook lock (steering wheel lock), while not foolproof, can make your vehicle a less appealing target and may slow down or discourage thieves.

Stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately.
