Pinner Rotary  St George's Day celebrations took place on Sunday 27th April 2025. The entertainment commenced with bell ringing from the Parish Church followed by the Scout Parade to the War Memorial where they renewed their Promise. St George is also the Patron Saint of the Scout Movement. Entertainment throughout the afternoon included live music, Capital Chorus, The Merry Downers Morris dancing, a Punch & Judy puppet show, face painting, children's rides, and many food and community stalls. The highlight of the celebration is the Wheelbarrow Race,  at 3pm a unique Pinner event in which teams of two take it in turns to push their partner in a wheelbarrow, drink beer and race round the streets of Pinner.
