The Hospital at Home. Last Tuesday 9th July, they attended the NHS Virtual Wards Conference in Manchester. This is a fairly new concept that is being rolled out at various NHS Trusts around the country and it is clear to them that this will need to be increased both locally and nationally to support the reduction in bed blocking and an increase in hospital admissions to reduce national waiting lists.
