When you think of the great ad illustrators, where does the name William Heath Robinson feature on that list?  With his trademark depiction of  stylish, convoluted but highly ‘outcome-focused’ contraptions, the renowned artist, illustrator and humorist William Heath Robinson (1872-1944) was a consummate ‘ad man’.  Not many people know that…  So the Heath Robinson Museum in Pinner, north-west London, ends 2017 and heads into 2018 with a special exhibition celebrating Heath Robinson’s most memorable advertising commissions.
