St Georges Day Celebrations in Pinner 
Thousands attended the annual celebrations. New owner of Friends Restaurant Faisel and his team set the tone for the entire afternoon by dressing up in traditional costumes. Pinner Rotary Club organised the event which was sponsored by Gibbs Gillespie. Various community organsations were represented including Ruislip Lions ClubFriends of Pinner Village Gardens, and The Heath Robinson Museum Trust.
The highlight of the afternoon was the traditional Wheelbarrow race which was won by The Queens Head picture report.............

Town Redevelopment work hurts Eastcote Traders
Traders in Eastcote report a dramatic drop in takings during the extensive work being carried out under the Redevelopment plan. Slip road parking temporarily reduced but the signage of the main car parks has always been poor.................

Overhanging fence obstructing the short footpath that leads from the shops near Eastcote Transport for London station to the station car park to the rear.

Eastcote Horticultural Society visit to RHS Hyde Hall
The Society is arranging a coach trip to RHS Hyde Hall and very much hope you’d like to join us. We have had several successful trips to RHS Wisley Gardens in recent years and visited Hyde Hall in 2014. There has been some redevelopment of the gardens at Hyde Hall and this should be a good time of year to visit.
