It was reported after the Eastcote Conservation Panel meeting that there was polluted water flowing into the River Pinn. This has now been reported. If anyone sees any form of pollution in the Pinn or any other river it needs to be reported to the Environment Agency [EA] as soon as possible. Sometimes the pollution is from a misconnection, e.g. a washing machine has been plumbed into the storm sewer instead of the foul sewer. This pollution would therefore be intermittent, so the EA needs to be informed at once so that it can be checked out. Below is a list of things that can be reported to the EA and the freephone telephone number for reporting problems. You will receive an incident number. Leasley Crowcroft thanked Paul Busby for this information.
