Lesley Crowcroft has informed us that after 20 years of service to the people of Eastcote, Chris & Irene Groom will be standing down from the ERA committee at the AGM. Chris has served as a committee member, Chairman and President. He has represented the community at many meetings including the SNT Ward Panel, the Steering group for the restoration of Eastcote House Gardens, planning meetings and forums to name a few. [If Chris received a £1 for every meeting he has attended he would probably be a millionaire by now!]  Irene has diligently taken notes and produced hundreds of minutes, represented ERA at HARA meetings as well as supporting Chris with the many engagements being Chairman and President bring.

We are not losing them altogether, their involvement with the Eastcote Conservation Panel and the Friends of Eastcote House Gardens will stay the same. 

Our thanks to them both for making Eastcote a better place to live.
