Flood Investigation Report 23/06/2016 Consultation
Information forwarded by Eastcote Conversation Panel:
Anyone who was affected by the flash flood last June may be interested in the following report.
Dear Resident,
Over the last few months, the Council has contacted residents and business owners in the Borough who were affected by the flooding, together with the various Council departments, other risk management authorities such as Thames Water and the Environment Agency and agencies such as the Met Office which were involved that day. In this way, a great deal of information has been collated.
To confirm the accuracy of this information we would welcome your input. We would appreciate feedback on;
the style and format of the report
the accuracy of the information
any additional information you can provide. For example, since reporting the event initially, many of you have sent reports to Thames Water, and had internal property flooding recorded. (Thames Water require completion of their ‘Sewer Flooding Questionnaire’ before recording flooding incidents)
any additional information you may have about the actions other agencies have taken to reduce flooding, whether on your property or in your road, which have not already been included in this report.
The report is now available on the Council Website. The Council would ask you to please provide any comments you may have on the this by 31st May 2017.
The final report, taking on board your comments and any final comments from other organisations, will be published in June.
Please find the link to both the investigation and the survey here;
