The Club area within the Lions International organisation covers all of Ruislip, Eastcote & Ickenham. It is celebrating along with other clubs all over the world 100 years of charity work by Lions. The club is proud of its fund raising and service work in the local community. Fund raising has included sponsoring Charity concerts, Easter Egg Raffles in Pubs & Clubs, attending local events with its "William Tell" Crossbow range, plus organising annually a Big Plant Sale and recently a Trolley Dash. Service activity where they help in the community includes assisting Hillingdon young carers social activities, sponsoring a monthly cafe with Hillingdon Carers in Ruislip Manor, Driving the Wren Centre mini bus, Running Film nights in the winter for people living in sheltered accommodation and delivering Christmas hampers.
